Important Notice: READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH **Football players only** 

League check is in required- Next Check in will be Friday 9/11.

ORIGINAL birth certificate is required to be brought to the check-in. Football player must be present.

Your child's original birth certificate will be verified, along with the SELFL Player Registration form, and photo will be taken.

Cheer Parents

During the month of October, our cheerleaders will be wearing pink accessories for Breast Cancer Awareness. 

 The Pink Cheer Accessories Kit is $32 and includes: 

🎀 Hot pink socks 🎀 Hot pink awareness bow 🎀 Awareness pink poms (1 set/2 poms)

Picture Day Information

 Photos will be taken by Michael Odendahl with Coach O Gameday Graphix Photography.

Location: Slaughter Charter School Gymnasium 2944 Highway 412 W. Slaughter, LA 70777 

Photo Package — $40 per Team Member (Sibling Photos are still $40 per Team Member) 

* 7 digital photos with unlimited printing rights (includes multiple poses and backgrounds)

* Includes an **8 x 10 team photo** 

* If you purchase a sibling photo package, it includes 3 digital photos with multiple backgrounds

The price increases to $50 if payment is made after Picture Day.

 **If you are unable to pay on Picture Day, your child can still have their photos taken.

** Photos will be held and released once payment is received. The $50 late price will apply to any payment made after Picture Day.

Where are practices held? BREC Doyle Bayou Park 7801 Port Hudson-Pride Road Zachary, LA 70791 

When is football practice? Monday, Tuesdays and Thursdays 6 PM - 7:30 PM, 

When is cheer practice? Tuesdays and Thursdays 6 PM - 7:00 PM for the duration of the season

What equipment is required for football? White helmet (helmet decals will be provided), shoulder pads, mouth guard, cleats, water bottle (labeled with name), red practice jersey, black padded pants

What is required for cheer? White cheer shoes (any brand of choice),  Red tee shirt/tank, black shorts for practice, Water bottle (labeled with name)

How do I volunteer? Please call or text Ashley at 225-310-9058 for volunteer opportunities. We need volunteers for coaching, gate work, concessions, and more

Where are games played? Home games are played at the Slaughter Charter School 2944 LA-412, Slaughter, LA 70777. Please see game schedule 12U, 10U, 8U, 6U for away game locations.

How do I submit forms? Our registration forms are submitted electronically. Please see link above next to: "✅Complete all electronic forms"

How do I make a payment? Payments are made through our website at www.efpmightyknights.com through your account.

What does football registration cover? Registration fee includes game jersey, game padded pants, game sock, & each player receives a dri-fit style shirt 

 What is not covered for football but required? White helmet (helmet decals will be provided), shoulder pads, mouth guard, cleats, water bottle (labeled with name), red practice jersey, black padded pants

What does cheer registration cover? Registration fee includes cheer uniform, socks, 1 set of poms, briefs, and hair bow

❓Why We Fundraise

The Mighty Knights is a nonprofit youth football and cheer organization. Registration fees alone do not cover the full cost of operating our program. 

Fundraising helps us provide a safe, affordable, and high-quality experience for every athlete. 

 Funds raised help cover expenses such as: 

*Practice equipment 

* Game-day expenses

 * League fees

*Insurance fees 

*Team activities and special events, including our Homecoming Parade and Homecoming Court

* End-of-season awards and banquet 

 Every family's participation makes a difference. By supporting our fundraisers, you help keep registration costs as affordable as possible while providing the best experience for all of our Mighty Knights athletes and cheerleaders.
